BRIEF: To develop an identity for a street label start-up, selling exclusively online, and that will shake up the existing system by allowing buyers to bypass large the long physical queues for latest ‘drops’.
CONCEPT: At the brand's core, SBSTRT is the base for all essential reaction. Trendsetting; it's fierce, limitless and alchemical. This is suggested through bold, abstracted imagery, references to the purity of existentialist Suprematism: art stripped back to fundamental form, evoking pure feeling and challenging existing visual languages and creating radical new ones.
